The plans of my granddaughter and her friend were wrecked this morning. They wanted to go to the beach for swimming and body-boarding. But, their little boys were both coughing (though they are not living in the same house). The two little boys couldn't go to their nursery school. And the boy with his broken arm couldn't go in the sea (because of his plaster cast). Therefore, there was a new plan. The friend brought a paddling pool and the sons could paddle and play in my garden. The plaster cast was swaddled in a plastic bag! The mothers couldn't swim or body board, but they could get wet or sunbathe, and picnic. Later, one boy still had energy - so he helped Grandad in the garden.
