Winter on the beach - gone home is the crowd of people we see in summer. The inhabitants are getting the beach back for themselves. Never mind that the air is damp and there is no sunshine. They like walking by the sea. I went to the doctor's surgery for an injection again - and then I took a nice walk too. There's a lot to be seen. There are still flowers on the brambles. The pumpkin lanterns are still by the wooden fence - but they are shrivelling and collapsing. Something else is collapsing - that is the old bone mill. But a new wooden building is springing up in the next paddock. (There are no rams there now.) And work is going ahead on the cycle path.
